Design Harmony: Timeless & Contemporary Elements

In the world of home decor, there is a balance between timeless aesthetics and contemporary elements. Combining enduring foundations with contemporary accents allows you to create a space that reflects your style while remaining sophisticated and classic.

The image of the study is a very traditional and handsome space that we paired with a contemporary, custom art piece on the mantle. The art gave an unexpected hit of color, texture, and interest.

We utilized traditional subway tile in this black bathroom, even though it is made of black porcelain instead of the historical white ceramic tile found in the early 1900s. We paired it with a traditional black marble base while integrating it with a contemporary black and white marble floor. The yin and yang of mixing classic and contemporary elements made this small powder bathroom fun and beautiful.

To create a unique and enduring living room, as shown below, we placed iconic Eames chairs, paired them with a hot pink sofa, and added oversized contemporary artwork to complete what was a traditional white living space.
